Cloud storage service Dropbox is rolling out improved previews for app support images over the next few days. A new preview tool will allow users to magnify, highlight, and zoom in JPG, PNG, BMP, and Photoshop images in PSD. Dropbox says we'll be able to view PostScript (Eps) files and see better color matching, higher resolutions in Photoshop (PSD), Illustrator (AI) or Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) file previews in the browser.

The web app will bring support for viewing artboards and pages in Illustrator files, so you can check out full vector images without having to download them or even have design software installed on your desktop.

Along with Dropbox's commenting system, the update should make it easier for users to collaborate on imaging projects.
